The stunning cathedral of Montreal is worth a visit. In fact, it is a must while you are in the city. The basilique is located at Place Jacques Cartier. The moment you step inside you will be able to admire its gold-adorned altar, the wonderful stained glass and the grandeur of this piece of architecture. There is also a guided tour if you pay the 6CAD of the entrance, but if you just want to attend a mass, it’s for free. Inside, you can enjoy AURA, a wonderful light show every evening and you need a ticket for it. It’s totally worth its price!
