ENGLISH VERSION
The lovliest 'violins' of Amalfi - Embedded in the green hills of the Amalfi Coast, only a few metres from Amalfi's picturesque centre lies the charming holiday home by the lovely name of Villino dei Violini (small house of violins).
A breathtaking view of the bright blue Mediterranean Sea and a fascinating view of Amalfi itself can be enjoyed from all rooms and the terrace of the Villino dei Violini holiday home, which is located a little away from the centre and is perfect for all those who want to experience the colourful, busy hustle and bustle of the Amalfi Coast and at the same time enjoy a pleasant, quiet holiday ambience.
A SKY FULL OF FIGS
You reach the stylishly furnished Villino dei Violini via a staircase that leads through the terraced garden. On the ground floor of the house there is a very spacious living/dining room with kitchenette and a bathroom.
On the first floor you will find another bathroom, a bedroom with two single beds and the centrepiece of the house, after which it is named: the double bedroom, in which the vaulted ceiling is lavishly painted and decorated with violins. When you wake up in the morning, you can see Amalfi through a small window or the shallow waves of the sea through the window on your right.
At the front door of the Villino dei Violini is the furnished terrace, which is shaded by climbing bougainvillea in the summer months. Lemons, oranges and various vegetables are grown in the approx. 500 m² garden, which is laid out in several terraces, which you are welcome to use to prepare your Mediterranean dishes.
A private PARKING SPACE can be provided on request and for a fee. For a small surcharge, your luggage will be delivered to your front door.
FURTHER INFORMATION
Since public transport on the Amalfi Coast is well developed, a car is not absolutely necessary for your holiday at Villino dei Violini.
The centre of Amalfi, with its colourful houses, narrow streets and the constant hustle and bustle of the locals, is just 1 km away. Here you will find a wide variety of shops, grocery shops and restaurants.
A bar open all year round is just 500 metres away. The 'Spiaggia degli Artisti' - a small bay with a sandy beach and shallow entrance into the sea - is around 600 metres from the Villino.
AROUND AMALFI
The Amalfi Coast is lined with numerous, sometimes smaller - sometimes larger, but always very tranquil and characteristic little towns. Alongside Amalfi, Ravello and Positano are probably the best known, but smaller towns such as Raito or Conca dei Marini are also worth a trip.
If you want to escape the hustle and bustle of the coast, you should take a walk along one of the many hiking trails on the Amalfi Coast and enjoy the tranquillity and nature. Our tip: Follow in the footsteps of the gods - you can start the 'Sentiero degli Dei' in Agerola, for example, and stock up on typical local delicacies in the various grocery shops for a picnic break in between. On the way, you can enjoy a unique panorama of the Costiera Amalfitana and the Mediterranean island of Capri.
